Watch Me Strut pounced in late stretch to nab the winner's share of the $23,500 purse in the third, a $16,000 claiming race on the turf, at Woodbine Racetrack August 15 2018. Sitting mid pack, the 4 year-old gelding by Strut the Stage, was being urged mid race by jockey Eurico Rosa da Silva and had looked like he'd have to settle for 4th turning for home. A late surge within the final sixteenth sent him past the front runners at the wire to win by 1/2 a length for trainer Catherine Day Phillips and her Kingfield Racing Stable and partner George P Ledson.
