The Sean & Dorothy Fitzhenry bred and owned, Dixie Moon, made her debut a winning one in a $61,000 Maiden Special Weight going seven furlongs in the fifth race at Woodbine.
Trained by Catherine Day Phillips, the 2 year-old Curlin filly out of the Fitzhenry mare Dixie Chicken stalked the pace in second before making a bid three wide turning for home to win by 1 1/2 lengths with jockey Eurico Rosa Da Silva.
