Eradicator breaks maiden

The Anderson Farms Ontario, Inc. & John Fielding owned 3 year old gelding Eradicator broke his maiden in a $25,000 claiming race at Woodbine.  Ridden by Eurico Rosa Da Silva, Eradicator made a determined bid down the stretch to prevail by half a length in the 6 1/2 furlong race on the tapeta.

Today’s win by Eradicator provided trainer Catherine Day Phillips with her seventh win in her last ten starts spanning just over two weeks including two stakes scores with Mr. Havercamp (September 23) and Dixie Moon yesterday.  Catherine has a total of 19 wins, 13 seconds, 6 thirds in 67 starts a 57{9f397ac38e01c7df95d0d7a79cfbb94357c77bd28aa72c3579aa32ab1ef49745} place rate and 29{9f397ac38e01c7df95d0d7a79cfbb94357c77bd28aa72c3579aa32ab1ef49745} win rate so far this year.
