Owners George P. Ledson (now retired from his company Cavalier Transport) his son Brian Ledson and David Anderson of Anderson Farms Ontario Inc. had plenty to cheer as their first time starter Keep on Truckin went gate to wire to win by 11-3/4 lengths in the 5th race Sunday at Woodbine.
Trained by Catherine Day Phillips the 2YO ON bred gelding by Society’s Chairman – Colbra took the lead early then easily distanced himself from the field under a hand ride by Jockey Eurico Rosa da Silva in the 5 furlong $40,000 Maiden Special Weight event.
