Shipping in to Woodbine for 2019

After spending the off season wintering at the farm, 26 horses have now shipped in to trainer Catherine Day Phillips barn at Woodbine.

The first horse to get off the van was 3 year-old filly Notice Me (photo above) owned by Catherine’s Kingfield Racing Stable in partnership with P.A. Fullerton Stable Inc. and Peter Reich.

Notice Me won her second start a Maiden Special Weight on August 31 and then stepped up to Stakes company finishing fourth in the Victorian Queen Stakes, second in the South Ocean Stakes and fourth in the Ontario Lassie Stakes.

Catherine has spent the winter months in Florida with 10 horses training at Palm Meadows with a few racing at Gulfstream Park.  Another 5 horses have spent the winter on a farm in Ocala.
